“The best route to learning is doing.” This is often the mantra of nursing staff educators, who see the positive results of hands-on training. As noted in the biweekly magazine Legislative Network for Nurses, “Simulation technology may become the new wave in nursing education.” To give its nurses and physicians a chance to work together on patient scenarios in a safe, controlled environment, a children’s hospital in Utah has developed a state-of-the-art simulation laboratory.
