There’s always important information and interesting tidbits to share at staff meetings. But when nurses become lackluster about attendance, educators are often left feeling helpless and frustrated.

“We’ve had very poor turnouts, even when the meetings are mandatory,” says Danita Pauly, RN, clinical nurse educator at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, IA. “It’s a frustration that staff don’t attend, and our experiences have been discouraging.”
