Hospitalist company moves headquarters to Nashville

Irvine, CA-based Cogent Healthcare, one of the nation's largest hospitalist companies, plans to move its corporate offices to
Cogent currently staffs and operates hospitalist programs for healthcare organizations in 16 states.
Gene Fleming, Cogent's chief executive officer, said in a press release, "The primary reasons for this decision are to increase our efficiencies and our effectiveness in addressing the needs of our hospital clients, many of which are located on the East Coast," according to the article.
