Experts say a pint of beer a day may actually help nursing home residents with an average age of 85 live longer. St. Mary's Hospital in County Monaghan, Ireland, has taken this advice to heart, providing its residents and their family members with a bar to make the brew benefits available. The Irish nursing home put in its own pub to help raise the spirits of its residents and encourage a social atmosphere for family members and others in the community, Reuters reported. The bar is open from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and charges customers regular bar prices, according to Reuters.
