JCAHO considers changes to primary-source verification

Keep an eye out for a potential change to JCAHO standard HR.1.20 that would require primary-source verification of licensure, training, and education for all practitioner required to have a license to practice.
The proposed revision is now in committee review, according to the JCAHO's June 2004 issue of Perspectives.
