Malpractice bill stalled once again

For the third time, a Democratic filibuster stopped federal malpractice legislation from going to the Senate floor for a vote. The bill, which would limit noneconomic damages on malpractice lawsuits, fell 11 votes short of the 60 needed, according to Modern Healthcare.
