Practice management-physician group mergers on the rise

Practice management companies continue to acquire hospitals and other hospitalist facilities, according to a Jan. 12 American Medical News article.
"You will continue to see acquisition activity," said Adam Singer, MD, chair and CEO of IPC The Hospitalist Company in North Hollywood, CA, in the article.
