Dear Medical Staff Leader Connection readers,
Whenever a new year approaches, I think about my dad’s perspective on New Year’s resolutions. He believes that if you want to change your life, you should start now—there is no reason to wait for January 1. Although he has a valid point, you have to admit that January 1 has helped many people get over the “I’ll start my diet tomorrow” syndrome. It’s not a deadline per se, but the start of a new year, and you want to get it off to a strong start.
As the editor of Medical Staff Leader Connection and Medical Staff Briefing, to get my year off to a good start, I need your feedback. Let me know what questions you need answered and topics you want explored by e-mailing me directly at ejones@hcpro.com.
I’m also interested in hearing what your career-related resolutions for 2010 are. Is it to receive your CPMSM or CPCS certification? Is it to take charge on a daunting project? Is it to become a mentor to an MSP who has just joined your department? Share your thoughts!
Best regards,
Liz Jones
