Since the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) granted Det Norske Veritas (DNV) deeming status in September 2008, medical staffs across the country have been itching to find out what makes DNV different from other accreditors. Even if your organization is not DNV-accredited, the lessons learned from these surveys can serve as best practices.
