According to a quick poll conducted on www.hcpro.com, 76% of respondents indicate that their facility pays the president of the medical staff/chief of staff, and 24% indicate that their facility does not. Below are the full results of the quick poll, including salary ranges.
- 24% of medical staffs pay more than $40,001 per year
- 8% of medical staffs pay $30,001 to $40,000 per year
- 4% of medical staffs $20,001 to $30,000 per year
- 20% of medical staffs pay $10,001 to $20,000 per year
- 20% of medical staffs pay less than $10,000 per year
- 24% of medical staffs do not pay the president of the medical staff
