For many, marriage offers stability and a trusted partner. Having a solid relationship takes a lot of work, but if couples are willing to put in the extra effort, they can achieve marital bliss. The same can be said for the relationships between PCPs and hospitalists. Like marriage, both sides need to commit and communicate. Similarly, PCPs and hospitalists must adjust their practices to accommodate this relationship.
