New ICD-9 coding guidelines are here
Contemporary Long-Term Care Weekly, September 27, 2007
CMS and the other cooperating parties have issued new ICD-9-CM Official Guidelines for coding and reporting. These guidelines, which go into effect October 1, should be used during all ICD-9 coding activities for both claims and the Minimum Data Set.
