OIG releases healthcare quality guide

In response to consumers demanding more information on quality healthcare, the Office of Inspector General (OIG) released a resource guide on corporate responsibility and healthcare quality, according to an OIG press release. The guide, "Corporate Responsibility and Health Care Quality: A Resource for Health Care Boards of Directors" will help a facility's board of directors ask appropriate healthcare-related questions on topics including quality care requirements, measurement tools, and reporting requirements, according to the release.
