Long-Term Care

Education a top priority for new association

Contemporary Long-Term Care Weekly, September 20, 2007

Long-term care nurses have a new association dedicated to achieving excellence in the profession by uniting all levels of nursing staff. The American Association for Long Term Care Nursing (AALTCN) will advocate for and provide education to long-term care nurses, according to an AALTCN press release. The goal of the association is not to compete with other organizations; instead its purpose is to provide educational resources, advocacy, and a voice for the profession.
