CMS switches to broadband for MDS submissions
Contemporary Long-Term Care Weekly, August 9, 2007
Starting last month, CMS began a state-by-state transition from AT&T's dial-up service to broadband Internet service for MDS submissions and reports. Nursing homes that want to continue submitting MDSs and accessing reports using dial-up modems will have to request a waiver.
