It's difficult when a patient dies. Everyone copes with grief differently, and there are many effective techniques. Following are suggestions for CNAs to try:

  • Seek out caring people
  • Express your feelings
  • Be patient
  • Take care of your health
  • Postpone major life changes
  • Seek outside help when necessary
