Good grooming helps residents maintain a positive self-image. It's difficult for some residents to care for themselves, which is why it is the CNA's daily responsibility to help residents make sure of the following:
- Clothing is clean and appropriate
- Oral care is provided
- Male residents are shaved
- Female residents do not have long facial hairs
- Glasses are clean and in place, if applicable
- Hair is neatly combed
- Hearing devices are working and in place, if applicable
