Increase staff retention rates and improve quality of care

Recent initiatives in the long-term care industry—such as the culture change movement, Five-Star Quality Rating System, and increased focus on quality of care—have called more attention to the importance of staff retention in nursing homes.
However, as providers face the challenges of a changing industry, improving staff retention rates may have fallen to the bottom of their to-do lists.
But what many facilities do not realize is that in improving staff retention, they will also improve the quality of care they provide and better position themselves for success in the future of long-term care.
