Because most of the automated edits are regarding services that are clearly defined as not being covered or are clinically unbelievable, van Halem says facilities can and should be prepared for automated reviews.
That kind of proactive approach can be extremely beneficial. In doing the work ahead of time, SNFs will save time, energy, and money in the long-run.
