Got PS&R? Reports now reliant on CMS' IACS system

In the past, providers would receive their PS&R in the mail. Beginning this year, however, the report is available only through CMS’ new computer system known as Individuals Authorized Access to CMS Computer Services, or IACS. Providers were instructed to register with the system by the end of 2009.
If your facility has yet to register with IACS, contact your FI or MAC immediately. According to Malzahn, who was responsible for registering her company, it’s possible that many providers may have waited too long to begin the process, which she found to be arduous and complicated.
