CMS updated their Web site with new information about the Five-Star Quality Rating System for nursing homes on May 22. The Five-Star Quality Rating System Technical Users’ Guide: State-Level Cut Point Tables, which lists the state-level cut points for star ratings in the health inspection and activities of daily living (ADL) Quality Measure (QM) domains, was updated to include each state’s recalibrated cut points for the month of May. CMS also added a new document, the Expected and Adjusted Staff Time Values Data Set, which “contains reported, expected, and adjusted staffing time values for all nursing homes on Nursing Home Compare,” according to the CMS Web site.
