Two teenage girls have been charged with abusing residents at the Good Samaritan Society nursing home in Albert Lea, MN, according to the Associated Press. Brianna Broitzman, 19, and 18-year-old Ashton Larson have been accused of sexually humiliating and taunting residents who suffered from Alzheimer’s and dementia. The girls also allegedly poked resident genitals and spit in their mouths.

Of the eight girls allegedly involved in the abuse scandal, Broitzman and Larson were the only two old enough to be charged as adults, according to the Associated Press. Broitzman is charged with 11 criminal counts and Larson with ten. If convicted, the girls will face jail time.
