Twelve Indiana nursing homes deficiency-free

The Indiana State Health Department announced that 12 local nursing homes had no deficiencies in their annual surveys, reports the Muncie Free Press. These comprehensive surveys, conducted by a team of professional surveyors, covered the following areas:
- Residents’ rights
- Residents’ behavior and facility practices
- Quality of life
- Resident assessment
- Quality of care
- Nursing services
- Dental services
- Infection control
- Physical environment
- Administration
