Final rule released for automatic sprinkler systems
Contemporary Long-Term Care Weekly, August 14, 2008
The August 13, 2008 Federal Register contains the final rule that requires all long-term care facilities to install automatic sprinkler systems.
Sprinkler systems must be installed or updated to comply with the requirements by August 13, 2013. After installation, these systems must also be properly maintained. Read the Federal Register for more information.
