Q: Our nursing facility has been admitting more Medicare Part C patients this year. Can you offer any advice about how to approach these admissions?

A: Medicare Advantage (MA) plans seem to be growing in popularity, so be sure your facility can manage the process from admission to payment.

The most important aspect of admitting residents under an MA plan, otherwise known as Medicare Part C, is to understand the coverage for the plan in which the resident has enrolled.
