Exercise may prevent brain shrinkage for Alzheimer's patients

A preliminary study suggests that individuals with early Alzheimer’s disease may be able to slow brain shrinkage with a lot of exercise, according to CNN.com.

 

Participants who were physically fit had less brain shrinkage than less-fit participants; however, did not do much better on mental performance testing. The study is only a starting point for future exploration.
