 This spring, the Office of Inspector General (OIG) published a Federal Register notice containing proposed supplemental compliance program guidance for Medicare- and Medicaid-certified nursing facilities. Compliance guidance is a set of guidelines for providers to consider when developing and implementing compliance programs or evaluating existing programs.
