New information added to Nursing Home Compare Web site
Contemporary Long-Term Care Weekly, May 1, 2008
Last week, CMS added information to the Nursing Home Compare Web site that will allow Medicaid beneficiaries and their families to search for quality long-term care services.
The Web site will list whether a nursing home is currently, or has in the past, been on CMS’ special focus facility (SFF) list. This initiative creates an awareness of nursing homes that have a history of poor performance or repeated violations of state and federal health, and safety rules.
