South Carolina SNF residents are loving wii-hab

Nintendo's Wii game console isn't just for youngesters anymore. More nursing homes are incorporating "wii-hab" into therapy and daily exercise, reported www.scnow.com. The Morrell Nursing & Rehab Center in Hartsville, South Carolina, has residents using the Wii to increase muscle strength and movement. Residents are enjoying the gaming console, and staff report that the Wii tennis, basketball, and boxing games provide rehabilitation in a fun, safe setting, according to www.scnow.com.
