CMS adds more underperforming SNF names to its list

On February 12, CMS provided an updated list of underperforming nursing homes, according to an agency press release. The new list is part of CMS' initiative to make public all nursing homes that were underperforming and failed to improve after being given time to do so. Nursing homes that are listed in Special Focus Facility (SFF) initiative fall under the following categories:
- New additions
- Not improved
- Improving
- Recently graduated
- No longer in Medicare and Medicaid
