Pharma access to Rx-ing info on agenda for NCSL annual meeting

The issue of pharmaceutical access to prescription records identifying doctors or patients for marketing purposes is on the agenda for the National Conference of State Legislature's annual meeting in Boston next week.
During the Monday afternoon session, senators, representatives, and members of the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association and National Community Pharmacists Association will discuss the issue. Also on the agenda next week are discussions about health disparities and what states can do and updates on pieces of health legislation pending before Congress.
