DOJ investigating Medtronic marketing
Device Regulation Alert: Safety, Compliance and Reimbursement News, March 9, 2009
The Department of Justice (DOJ) is investigating Medtronic’s promotion of its cardiac ablation therapy, the company reported in a regulatory filing.
The company received a letter from the DOJ on February 9 concerning its marketing and reimbursement advice to physicians. Medtronic plans to comply with the inquiry, according to its report.
