Physicians approve of pharma-sponsored CME
Pharma Compliance Alert, February 25, 2009

Of the physicians surveyed, only 8% believe industry-sponsored CME is biased, while 9% oppose commercial support for CME. Because CME is both useful to and desired by physicians, pharmaceutical companies need to stay informed about the new ethics guidelines affecting CME in order to provide the information physicians want, while minimizing legal risks.
