Compliance 'critically important to industry'

Pharmaceutical manufacturers must make sure compliance and ethics are fully integrated into their day to day activities, according to Novartis CEO Ludwig Hantson, PhD, but creating a culture of compliance is the most difficult task compliance people face.
“Compliance needs to be part of the DNA of an organization,” Hantson said during the Center for Business Intelligence’s Sixth Annual Pharmaceutical Compliance Congress January 26 in Washington D.C. “Compliance is critically important to our industry.”
