Medtronic posts list of donations
Device Regulation Alert: Safety, Compliance and Reimbursement News, September 15, 2008
Medtronic posted a list of its charitable donations online for the first time, in part because of pressure from Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA), according to a Memphis Commercial Appeal article.
Metronic agreed in March to publish its donations to its physician customers and their affiliated organizations. The donations listed are separate from those made by the Medtronic Foundation, which provides grants to various charities around the world.
The donations ranged from $200 to almost $80,000 and were paid during the first quarter of Medtronic’s fiscal year.
