Wright Medical under 'informal' investigation by SEC

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is informally investigating Wright Medical Technology regarding possible violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), according to a Memphis Business Journal article.
 
The investigation centers of sale of medical devices in several foreign companies. Wright, which makes orthopedic devices, disclosed the letter in a regulatory filing. The company said it intends to fully comply with the investigation and said other companies have received similar letters.
