New competency model for infection preventionists
Infection Control Weekly Monitor, May 9, 2012
The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) has introduced their first model for infection preventionist competency.
The model, according to APIC, outlines the skill needed to meet the demands of the rapidly expanding field of infection prevention, and equip professionals for the challenges of the future.
