Healthcare workers have to be cautious about not transmitting infections that they have to patients.
OSHA Healthcare Advisor offers a chart for suggested work restrictions for employees. For example, if an employee has conjunctivitis, they are restricted from patient contact and contact with the patient’s environment until the infection ceases.
