Joint Commission introduces new tool for improved hand hygiene

A new interactive tool that aims to simplify the solving process for some of the most unrelenting quality and safety issues that exist in healthcare has been made newly available to Joint Commission accredited hospitals.
It’s called the Targeted Solutions Tool™ (TST), and it measures performance, indentifies barriers to excellent performance, and implements proven solutions in a step-by-step process. The first set of targeted solutions is for improving hand hygiene.
