Inspection reports shows IC lapses in Illinois

More than 75% of ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) in the state of Illinois were found to have infection control lapses in the last year. Inspectors cited facilities for a number of IC violations, many of which included picking debris of the floor and returning to work without washing their hands.
