CMS adds outpatient facilities to performance measures

CMS continues to place importance on the outpatient sector of healthcare. Last week the regulator added outpatient data to hospital performance measures, which can be found online at their new website.
The data covers a variety of quality measures including shielding patients from infection during surgical procedures.
