"All or none" is the best approach for preventing post-op infections

A study recently published in the July 23/30 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association indicates the current reporting system for post-operative infections doesn’t accurately reflect actual infection rates.

Instead the authors have proposed a new “all-or-none” approach, which includes all of the Surgical Care Improvement Project measures, rather that focusing on individual compliance.
