Prefilling then storing syringes is not recommended

How long can you store prefilled syringes? According to CDC guidelines, not at all.

Although syringes prefilled by a manufacturer have their own storage specifications, staff members should not prefill syringes themselves and store for later use. This presents myriad infection control and patient safety implications, according to Peg Luebbert, infection control expert and blogger on OSHA Healthcare Advisor.
