Oncology clinic prevents H1N1 with aggressive policies

The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC) in Seattle and the Seattle Cancer Center Alliance (SCCA) created an aggressive prevention program that resulted in no increase of H1N1 cases in the facility, despite a 100-fold increase in H1N1 cases in the Seattle area. The features of the program were published in the December 2009 Blood.
