Objects that pose a high risk of infection, especially for kids, might be found in your waiting room, rather than your patient examination room.

Toys in your waiting room might be a thankful distraction for pediatric patients, but they can also carry infectious organisms. Children are particularly susceptible given their knack for putting objects their mouth, writes IC consultant and OSHA Healthcare Advisor blogger Libby Chinnes.
