New guidance published by the CDC offers a pandemic influenza planning template specifically for primary care provider (PCP) offices.

The role of a PCP during a pandemic has become more and more relevant to community planning, often easing the burden on hospital emergency departments, but collaborating with surrounding facilities is imperative to the success of infection prevention.
