If you have jumped on to the iPhone or iPod bandwagon, you know by now that there is an “app” for virtually every situation from finding your car to finding a restaurant.
Now your phone will find the flu. A number of new applications, including “Outbreaks Near Me,” and Harvard Medical School’s “Mobile Swine Flu Center” have been developed to track H1N1 outbreaks, reports USA Today.
Outbreaks Near Me tracks your location through GPS and tells you where infectious outbreaks are happening, and also alerts you when an outbreak arrives in your area. The Mobile Swine Flu Center offers prevention tips for individuals and businesses.
