H1N1 cases in decline

Cases of flu-like illnesses have declined in the past four weeks, according to federal health officials, although hospitalization rates among children under four years old remain high, reports USA Today.

The World Health Organization has said that H1N1 may have peaked in North America, the Caribbean, and parts of Europe. However the CDC argued that it’s too soon to declare anything, particularly since flu rates have rebounded in past years around Christmas and New Year.
