Paid sick leave policies discussed at the state level

Pandemic experts have urged healthcare facilities in particular to establish appropriate paid sick leave policies given the increased risk of infection this flu season.

One state is taking this issue to a government level. A state bill mandating paid sick leave has been dormant in the New Hampshire State Legislature, but may be revived by supporters given the threat of seasonal influenza and H1N1.
