Tip of the week: IOM recommends N95 respirators

The Institute of Medicine (IOM) has issued a report recommending the use of N95 respirators for protection against H1N1.

The CDC requested that IOM evaluate the need for N95s after some other organizations had argued surgical masks would be sufficient protection.
